"Absolutely gorgeous hotel and the perfect location for exploring Canterbury! ❤️ The Abode is literally in the heart of the city, with everything right on your doorstep and within easy walking distance. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly polite, accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt really welcomed. "From the moment we set foot inside we were greeted warmly by the staff (especially Watawan) and given a lovely welcome. Everything was clearly explained and arranged, and the staff made sure we had the best stay we could to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The room was already set up with an extra bed when we arrived and the view was fantastic. The hotel was clean and tidy, quiet despite it being in the centre of town and a walk to just about everything. Breakfast was very good and again, served by friendly staff that made the whole experience very pleasant. Will certainly stay again!"
