"Great location very close to the seafront (we could see the sea from our room) and slightly away from noisier/busier part of Folkestone. 10-min walk to train station. Comfortable bed and very good bathroom. Very good breakfast (although bread quality could be improved). Overall a great stay - would not hesitate to stay again when visiting Folkestone again."

"Reception and bedrooms were well kept and stylish and the location good for exploring the city. Breakfast was a bit limited and the coffee really not as good as you’d expect. The outside areas had been well designed and planted but are now in severe need of attention. There’s a lot of competition so these things are important. Overall, we felt comfortable and safe. "

"Clean spacious modern room, same as the reception and dining area. Loved the ‘make your own waffle’ station - the blueberry mixture was delicious. Quiet at night and blackout curtains did their job well."

"Lovely modern hotel in a great location. The room was a generous size. The bathroom had a huge shower. Breakfast was included and was excellent - especially the scrambled eggs! Yum! Staff were really kind and professional. There’s a good bar, a bit pricy - but that’s to be expected. Parking is discounted to £25 and only a two minute walk away. Everything in Canterbury is so close - it’s an absolutely lovely city. This hotel is the perfect spot."

"Perfect for one night. Lovely room at the top of the hotel. All looked new and was very clean. Great evening meal in the restaurant:bar. And good breakfast too. All in all a very good stay and a very good price. "

"Every member of staff we met was friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our room was beautiful with a view over the river. It was quiet and comfortable and I loved the window seat in the bay window. The bathroom was enormous and boasted both bath and walk in shower. Unfortunately the basin taps were very difficult to turn off and trickled overnight but we were assured that this would be looked at and received sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We enjoyed a full and plentiful breakfast with bottomless tea and coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed a little longer"
