This hotel shouldn’t be rated with4 stars. The staff in the hotel were not professional in any respect. They were unorganised, unhelpful at reception, provided poor service in the breakfast restaurant (leading us to a table and then giving it to other guests), and where do I start with the makeshift bar. The hotel is not near any other amenities so you would expect to have a permanent bar but instead the put a temporary bar out in the reception area which is not permanently staffed, so to get a drink you need to ring a bell and wait to be served. They close the bar at 11pm. We arrived back from dinner at 11.05pm and asked for a drink and despite the reception area being busy we were rudely refused service despite our polite request. When we arrived they were hoovering the reception area and seemed unprepared to deal with incoming guests. The hotel is relatively modern and in a residential and quiet area with good transport via bus into San Sebastian and could be much better. It is particularly let down by their staff at all levels from management down who are simply not up to the job.

Dejligt sted men alt for lidt personale

Vi rejser ofte og havde selvfølgeligt store forventninger til San Sebastian og ikke mindst til dette 4-stjernede hotel. - Vi valgte hotellet blandt flere og især grundet parkeringsmulighederne. Med dem blev vi ikke skuffede på trods af den lidt dyre døgnpris på samme. Hotellet er nyt, pænt, velholdt og dejlig rent og receptionen velbemandet men med baren og restauranten er det en ganske anden sag! Der er simpelthen alt for få personaler til at man som gæst ikke føler det umenneskelige kaos det må være for de få som forsøger at betjene gæsterne her. Hver morgen var det simpelthen ikke muligt for det stakkels personale at nå at tømme borde, tage imod gæsterne og fylde op oveni at restauranten virker for lille indenfor (det regnede mens vi var der så terrassen var ikke i spil) til den belægning hotellet har - det samme gjorde sig gældende den ene aften vi valgte at spise i restauranten hvor én eneste personale både skulle tage imod ordrer og servere. Man fik helt ondt af hende trods hun var både smilende og professionel og gjorde sit aller bedste - I baren er det nøjagtig samme ‘situation’ og i de timer hvor der er mange kunder svært at nå en drink og betaling selvom man har sat en hel time af - det giver unødig stress og et stik i hjertet at se at personalet skal løbe rundt mens de mærker utålmodigheden stige. Det grønne kig til naturen som hotellet har fra terrassesiden er smukt og beroligende, og vi håber hotellets ledelse vil opnomere deres headcount’s for samme inde.

When we arrived around midnight, the electricity went out in our floor, we were only able to go to our room at around 2am and until 2am we were in the lobby with the electricity going on and off. The checkout is at 11:00 am, but we were a few minutes late because we couldn’t sleep properly at night, the main desk call to the room to remind us of the time of the check out. In the morning in the breakfast buffet which is charged 20 euros per person, there was a leak in the ceiling and they had bucket on the floor containing the water. In the end they did not charge the breakfast because I complained about the delay of the entry into the room. We had less than 20 minutes to eat. Overall I think in a hotel of this category should not present this kind of situation. When the power goes of in the rooms the fee should not be charged. It is not a good example of a good service.

Un refuge idéal pour profiter de San Sebastian

Excellent établissement, le confort de la literie et propreté sont au rendez vous. La décoration tant dans son parti pris et sa réalisation sont d’une grande qualité . L’atmosphère est ressourçante et la restauration est gourmande à souhait.
