The cabin we paid for had 1 king bed and a sofa that turns into a bed, easily fits 3 people. Kitchen was small but you can move easily, bed was clean, bathroom was a little small but clean. Extra blanket was provided, enough plates, galsses cups and utensils as well. Beautiful roof top with a table for 4, umbrella, lots of hiking trails, Beautiful amenities with views. The pool was a little dirty, green and slippery at the bottom, the water was little cold but it was perfect for the weather at noon. The staff was great! Very friendly and great communication. The off road to get there was a kinda rough but it is worth the drive, we recomend an suv with off road tires. The experience was amazing, about 10 min drive to restaurants, gas station and grocery stores. Highly recommended!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m sharing this to help improve the experience at the VIU Boutique Cabins. The cabin was as clean as a log cabin can be, and the view was spectacular. However, several issues affected our stay. Access to the property was difficult—the road is extremely steep, and a 4x4 is practically required. The cabin had hot water, but the shower drain didn’t work properly, causing water to pool around my feet and taking several minutes to drain. The bathroom also lacked space for toiletries, and there was no shelf in the shower for shampoo or conditioner. The upper floor, where the main bed is located, became very warm during the day, requiring the AC. At night in January, the cabin got very cold and windy. We requested extra blankets after an uncomfortable first night, but they were never delivered, and we were cold again the second night. On our second day, I found a cockroach inside my makeup bag, which was very unpleasant. We didn’t use the kitchen, pool, or fire pit, so I can’t comment on those amenities. The property has two gates, which initially made me feel safe. However, after returning from a concert, the guard refused to let us through and told us to take another route. The next day, after checking out, the same guard wouldn’t open the gate unless we paid him. We ended up giving him $5 just to exit. Overall, I would give this place 2 stars. For the price, it did not meet expectations, and I would not return or recommend it.

The view is outstanding. The room was clean not perfect. Staff outstanding specially gate man very kind. Roads are small and tight and up hill i recommend having a suv and up not a sedan.

My stay in El Salvador start off HORRIBLE. First and foremost, I want to acknowledge that the property itself is beautiful, and the views were truly stunning. However, the overall experience was deeply disappointing and not in line with the expectations set by the listing on Expedia. Upon arrival, we were assigned to a cabin that was not the one we paid for. We had booked a superior cabin, but were instead given a cheaper, less equipped one. We brought this to the attention of a staff member named Jorge, who was kind and professional throughout. Unfortunately, he had to escalate the issue to an “administrative team” who then claimed that Expedia had sent the reservation list late effectively shifting the blame rather than taking accountability. After much back and forth, we were eventually moved to the correct cabin. However, this cabin appeared to be under construction or at least not properly maintained. Major issues included: A flooding shower Non-functioning electrical outlets on the lower level Poor or non-existent Wi-Fi and air conditioning (which we understand may be affected by the remote location, but should still be clearly disclosed). While we understand that not everything can be perfect, the combination of being placed in the wrong accommodation, being given inaccurate excuses, and the maintenance issues we faced made the experience feel like a nightmare especially considering we paid for a higher-tier experience.

The cabin was good for the most part. Great location with a beautiful view. The only issue we had was a scorpion in our cabin. We had someone get pinched in the foot and fortunately for us, it was not a sting. We only saw one but were worried about the possibility of more critters hanging around. We understand certain things are out of the property’s control but wanted to mention it as a cautionary note. We stayed in an “A” frame cabin.
