"My mom and I went on a very last minute trip down to Cabo, it was our first time ever in Mexico. The Hyatt Ziva converted us to Mexican vacationers! The staff was amazing, SO friendly, so attentive, and there is tons of them so you're never waiting long for service or drinks.
We loved the adults only pool! We saw the same man everyday, and he was so sweet. Made sure our drinks were never empty and made sure we were always happy. The tacos they serve over there are 10/10.
The big pool is busier and lots of people were claiming there chairs and not coming to sit in them until later in the day, so that was a bummer. But the poolside service over there was amazing as well. I also didn't realize you can't really swim in the ocean in San Jose, so that was fine, but worth noting if your thinking about getting into the water. Currents are crazy and waves were huge and way too dangerous.
The food was definitely the highlight for us, which we were not expecting at an all-inclusive. The seafood restaurant on the water was gorgeous and so yummy. And the french restaurant was so delicious, the tenderloin was perfection and the starters were dreamy. No complaints, I would go back just for the restaurants.
I will note for other travelors, the transportation was crazy expensive to and from the airport, especially for Canadians ($250 USD round trip). So next time we would be a lot more confident to Uber. If they have cheaper options they were not offered to me when I called Hyatt."
