The grounds were full of wildlife and beautiful! Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. Our house was spacious and fully stocked. Our family, including 3 teenagers, had a great time swimming and relaxing.

We had a fantastic stay at Vanilla Hills. Our cabin was very comfortable with awsome views out of all of the windows. The on-site restaraunt has fantastic food and we enjoyed a special tapas tasing event while we were there. We would definitely return.

We loved our stay in the Gumbo Limbo Treehouse! The room was beautiful and staff were amazing! We even had a troop of monkeys playing in the trees one morning while we were there.

This is a very special property in the jungle. The food prepared at the restaurant was superb. There was a lovely infinity pool that we were able to enjoy. (Temps were in the mid-90s) We stayed in one of the treehouses and loved it. Very well appointed. Pretty pathways throughout the property. Be sure to visit the green iguana rescue in San Ignacio. The property's location is handy for Mayan ruins and cave tours. Love this place.

A very nice place

A very beautiful place, nested in a tropical forest full of birds (and squirrels). The restaurant is good and the staff is nice and helpful. The chalets are large and comfortable. The swimming pool is pleasant.

Great property not far from San Ignacio. Loved our two bedroom villa. Plenty of space and comfortable. Amazing Resort

This was our first hotel on a two week trip around Belize. We stayed at 6 other hotels/cabanas over our whirlwind tour of this great country. We waited until the end to make sure, but this was our favorite resort of all that we stayed. The cabin we stayed in (Hibiscus), was well appointed. The staff did a phenomenal job - they made up the extra bed in the room when we arrived and ironed the sheets as they made the bed. The daily towel animals were a nice touch too! The infinity pool was clean and relaxing. Food at the restaurant was amazing - highly recommend it. We really enjoyed watching all the animals on the property. The staff were phenomenal, making sure everything was taken care of. Highly recommend this resort!

The grounds and staff far exceeded our expectations. The tree houses were perfect and private. The showers were so cool. We ate every meal there during our three day stay and each one was delicious. The pool is beatiful and the bar is always open. Vanilla Hills arranged all of our transportation and tours and kept us on track letting us know each evening when we needed to be where. Vanilla Hills Lodge is a fantastic place to spend your downtime while exploring all that the surrounding area has to offer.

We loved everything about Vanilla Hills, the treehouse was awesome the food was delicious and the staff is great. The activities we booked with their help were fantastic. The crystal cave tour with Sisco and the day trip to Tikal exceeded expectations. The whole experience was the best part of our vacation and we visited 4 other places none were as memorable as Vanilla Hills and San Ignacio.

Vanilla Hills was a beautifully designed and executed resort. Every detail was carefully thought through and we were well taken care of for every part of our stay. Claudia, Karina and the entire staff were so attentive and kind. The food and drinks were incredible, and we loved getting to watch all the wildlife visiting to munch on fruit provided by the groundskeepers. Vanilla Hills coordinated all of our transport and excursions to be provided by Belize Caving Expeditions, and everything was top quality and so much fun. Thank you Vanilla Hills team!

Our stay was AMAZING!! Mark made our visit so personal and warm, he’s the best. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating to my friend’s dietary needs. I would recommend Vanilla Hills over and over again. We stayed in the large villa and had so much space and privacy. The infinity pool was perfect, and there’s a walkable river access we went to as well! There’s tons to see and do on the property as well as nearby. Our stay was perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Wow! what an amazing oasis in the jungle. The entire staff is truly focused on the needs of the guests. They are attentive, thorough and very friendly. The "tree houses" are spectacular, well decorated, filled with everything you need and super clean. You could drive, taxi to town for dinner, but why. Seriously, the food is so amazing on site and very reasonably priced for what they serve (gourmet deliciousness). This is the spot for a romantic stop while exploring the many fabulous tours nearby.

Tucked outside of town Vanilla Hills was perfect for our family of 6. While most of the accommodations were smaller, our 6 person guesthouse was tucked into the jungle with beautiful views from the balcony. We ate both nights at the Three Senses (sight, smell and taste) restaurant where all of us (ages 7 to 80) were well fed and wonderfully satisfied. The boys loved the pool and the grandparents loved the newly built bar area for their evening espresso. The staff and owners were very attentive and took good care of is, you felt like family. I would highly recommend a stay, much better than a large hotel.
