"An interesting hotel with 70s-80s decore. A feeling of the past however with a view to the future with serious commitment to green credentials. A slow food restaurant extends the good feeling of solar power, and recycled papers in the bathrooms and dining rooms. The shower was a little small and flimsy but the water was good and hot and the heating was hydronic . Staff were excellent. Only a short walk from a beautiful town and the station. "The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful inside, the rooms were very spacious with everything you would need, and more. We even had a cute balcony over looking the garden (just a shame there weren't any chairs to sit out on!) The beds were very comfy and even though the room was set up with two single beds they were a large single. Only negative point- We had a small issue with the shower screen leaking water onto the bathroom floor, but moving the shower head to a different position solved it. (Though long term it does need a rubber seal) The hotel is in a good location, we chose it as it was close to the station but equal its a short walk to the centre and main sight seeing areas. Final the breakfast!!! I have never seen so many options on a continental breakfast, and it was a so delicious too. We would all highly recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation."
