「Really like this hotel. Beautiful view, off the beaten path a bit but still a not too far tuk tuk ride to town. More laid back than the fancier hotel next door but you can still eat there. Loved that breakfast and kayaks were included. Staff was really nice. Good value too. Staying here was like the best of both worlds with the convenience of staying in Panajachel but views being on the lake, especially if you only have a couple nights at the lake. 」

「It is a modest hotel in the historic center of Solola. Only two parking spaces on premises, more adjacent. Reception/manager Josue is a wealth of info on the area, very friendly and obliging. Most rooms on upper floors, no elevator. Small common area with hot/cold water, tea and coffee. Coffee shop next door. Excellent cakes 1/2 block to the right on main avenue.」
