「We arrived late on a Sunday in a heavy downpour. The town is very remote and there were zero options to eat anywhere or not even any supermarket. The owner originally said that his restaurant was closed on Sundays, but then felt bad for us and opened it just for us. The meal was great and he only charged us 53 euros for a dinner with wine. That was very reasonable although he could've taken advantage of our situation and charged us significantly more. The town though has nothing to offer other...

「Ottimo hotel immerso nel verde, con due piscine (di cui una per bambini) in cui siamo stati benissimo. Ristorante con ampia scelta piatti, porzioni abbondanti e servizio rapido. Eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo. Camere ampie e pulite; ulteriore nota positiva, la cortesia dei titolari che con molto impegno sono riusciti anche a risolvere un problema di fatturazione con l'azienda. Consigliatissimo!」

We were traveling with a three year old and he was enchanted with the variety of animals. The host could not have been more welcoming and informative. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!」

「Everything was very clean! The owners thought of everything. The rooms were very comfortable. Parking on site was great. We were offered breakfast for a small fee and it was very good. There are even espresso machines in the rooms! The owners are very lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Easy to drive into town.」

「The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.」
