"The Luxor Hotel’s location is not in the main tourist area, you have to take a 15 min cab ride for 100 egp to get there. The area is local with some tourists and totally safe and friendly. The hotel is a 2 star, no kettle but a fridge in the room. Staff are friendly."

This was under refurbishment, but nobody cared about the guests - breakfast was not edible for Norwegians - staff saying problems would be fixed quickly, but nothing happened, again and again - obvious fake reviews on the site.
