"Property is older but rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were welcoming, however there is not much to do at the hotel itself and they don’t facilitate booking any activities. Close to several restaurants, though they are all very expensive. "

"The team at the Chateau Royal were all so lovely and helpful, they really were amazing to deal with! The room was spacious and super clean, the only downside was the bed which was a little hard but they were able to add a topper that made it a little better. The pool was warm and inviting, but one of the best parts was the AquaSpa, just a phenomenal environment to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing! The steam room, sauna and massive spa pools were perfectly maintained and clean."

"The staff were super amazing, helping my mother from a horror story of travel incidents (airline issues that set her travel back by 6 travels days being rescheduled more than 4 times). They hotel staff were very responsive to the multiple changes to my mother's travel"

"We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Noumea Ilot Maitre Resort for three nights, and it was an excellent experience. The resort is located on a beautiful island, accessible by ferry, which adds to the sense of escape and exclusivity. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with pristine, crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life. Snorkelling was the highlight of our trip we were lucky enough to see turtles, which made it even more special. The resort offers great amenities, and overall, the stay was very comfortable and relaxing. The only downside was the limited dining options and relatively high prices, but that’s somewhat expected for a remote island resort. Overall, we have no real complaints it was a fantastic stay and created memories we’ll cherish for years to come. "

"Beautiful view of the beach, room was a bit tired, you could tell they were working on improving them. Comfortable enough and in a great location. Although sold as a serviced apartment it’s important to note that the apartments are clearly only serviced on the weekend so if you are staying Saturday to Saturday ensure you plan to accommodate clean towels etc, there is a washing machine."

"Our room was a good room in fair condition. Generally the whole property was lacking the sparkle of a 4/5 star hotel , Although it was priced as a 5 star !!. Differently not up to Marriott standards although marketed as a Marriott Hotel. On line Marriott say the hotel is "Closed" and there is no name at the entrance or any directions to the property. Any member of the general public can and do use the pool and other areas of the property for a small daily fee. Overall we were very disappointed and very over charged !! "
