"Chambre d’hôtes, une première pour nous. Très bon accueil et toujours bien reçu et servi, petit déjeuner vraiment top (en comparaison à certains hôtels, ici c’était encore mieux). Literie impeccable Pas facile de ne pas avoir l’impression de déranger par contre quand on n’a jamais fait de chambre d’hôtes. "Lovely quiet hotel located by a magnificent church in central Angoulême making this a unique setting. We were using the hotel at the end of a 2 week holiday heading to Limoges airport in the morning. It was perfect. We had the family room which had lots of stairs to get to which was fine for us but might put some off. Room worked well and lovely views. The pool was great and we had a couple of beers sat by the pool served from the on-site bar. In the evening we walked into the main town (5-10 mins walk) which was lovely, quite busy and had a few decent looking bars and restaurants - we ate in Lion Rouge which was an Italian restaurant, we sat in the square, food and service great and would recommend. Overall would thoroughly recommend this hotel."
