Was advised by owner there is on road parking- should have read this properly! Apartment smelt of cigarettes and cannot take smell out from clothes. "Wonderful property a few minutes walk from a tube station that gets you right into the center of London in a flash. Property was very comfortable and relaxing after a long day touring the sights in London. "

With a seven-minute walk to the main bus line and 15 minutes to the tube, as well as many grocery stores and bakeries nearby, it's perfect for living like a local. It rained a lot but we were happy to be in our cozy house. It's about a 30-60 minute ride on public transport though to many tourist sites, but we enjoyed bringing a book along for our double-decker bus rides across town! "

"I was traveling for three weeks for business and the Stable House was such a perfect home base - you really can't beat the location if you're looking for something in the area. It was clean, well maintained, and on a quiet side street but still minutes (literally just a few hundred feet) to good food and drink. And of course, only a few minutes walk to the Castle and the Windsor side of the river (only about a five minute walk to the castle)."
