The #church Nuestra Señora del Carmen was founded in Antigua Guatemala in 1638 and it has been destroyed for many earthquakes. However, its #facade survived in very good condition! #architecture #InStone
About a 20 minute walk from the town of Antigua. We set off early in the morning, hoping to stay away from the crowds. There were only a couple of tourists and locals selling merchandise, but aside from that, you can hear the birds singing in the trees, and the few cars that drive by in the town centre. An extremely easy walk for those who prefer not to venture to the main volcanoes around.

what a perfect night on #volcanacatenango close to Antigua Guatemala. we had our camp set up inside the crater, fought the most gusty winds I have ever seen but finally got this amazing view of #volcanfuego erupting lava into the dark night. all worth it!
