「This is our third visit to Rotham Manor but this time we found our room freezing the heating was not working even though we got the Manager to check it and one of the plug sockets were faulty. There were tea and coffee facilities but no milk and no to ask so we had to go out and buy some.. When we went to breakfast there was a fire in the room but it was not lit and we eat it with our coats on. Basically a very unpleasant stay.」

「The property was very near the cliff path walks for those who enjoy this and whale watching. The Town center is very nice especially the waterfront. However this is a 40min walk from the property and despite their website and information booklet stating a shuttle bus service there is none, be warned. Taxis are at a premium so you may have a long wait. The room was very spacious and bed comfortable. The pool was not so good with paint peeling off the bottom and is very small. The bathroom needs a...

「We had a fantastic stay at De Bergkant in late July. The setting and surrounding view was stunning. We were greeted by Tracey who was manager and head chef. She could not have been more helpful. She provided recommendations on things to do in Prince Albert and places to eat, even made our dinner reservations for us. The rooms and the grounds were clean and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast. Tracey prepared a varied 5 course breakfast each morning that could only be...

「Very thoughtful setting in the room were we stayed. Although it was a quiet day, we were informed that we're upgraded to a more expensive room. One of the owners was there receiving us and is very friendly and helpful. Little details in the room, including live flowers, snow that they love creating the best experience for guests. Also had a nice chat at the breakfast time and with the checkout. Felt like visiting a good friend.」
