The location was perfect , right by the old town shopping street lines with restaurants, 10min walk from train station and 3 minutes from cathedral. "Lovely location and good chalet. Just needs a bit of focus -dishwasher doesn’t work as jets completely chalked up. Excruciating when the whole evening when you’re sat in the living area, the floor above scrape chairs across the floor making your ceiling shudder. Perhaps a bit of felt under the chairs legs?"

"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. "Not noted in the hotel description, but the front door literally opens onto platform 1 of the tain station. For those travelling by train this is a major bonus as Montreux is an extremely hilly city. Our room was on the top floor offering a great view off a large patio of Lake Geneva. Very comfy beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to the waterfront for stores and restaraunts."
