"We liked the swimming pool, pool table, ping pong and gym. Unfortunately our room ‘Paul’ was tiny for 4 people, it was in the attic space so incredibly hot, even with fans, and difficult to access. Only one toilet on top floor to share between 10 people. Did not sleep well at property. The breakfast was fine. Dogs are welcome, but hosts dog unruly and out of control, so my dog had to spend all it’s time in bedroom, when we wanted to use any of the facilities. The host was inflexible. If you do...

"Was on a cycling trip from England to Spain. Needed a proper bed for the night. Booked the day before. The hotel is new it appears. Arrived and parked my bicycle in their secure garage. Given a very clean and comfortable room with an extremely comfortable bed. So good I didn't want to leave it. The hotel has a swimming pool which I didn't use but others were. I ate in the restaurant/ bar area. Salmon and rice was very good and reasonably priced. I have never stayed in original city hotels before but after my experience I would definitely consider them in the future."
