The room was good. Bed was comfortable and we had a nice view from our room. The bathroom shower was super small tho. Other than the shower, we didn’t have any problems. Also it’s super close to the metro and walk distance from terminal and most of the tourist places.

Mi estancia en este alojamiento en Roma fue excelente. La habitación estaba muy limpia y equipada con todo lo esencial para una estadía cómoda. Destaco especialmente la hospitalidad de los encargados, quienes fueron muy amables y flexibles con algunas solicitudes, lo cual hizo que la experiencia fuera aún mejor. La ubicación es otro gran punto a favor: está muy bien conectado, a poca distancia caminando tanto del Coliseo como de la estación central de Roma, lo que facilita muchísimo moverse por la ciudad. Desde mi perspectiva, es un lugar 100% recomendado, especialmente por la relación calidad-precio, que me pareció excelente. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí en una próxima visita a Roma.

We planned a last minute day trip to Rome and scrambled to find accommodation - we’re so happy we came across the listing for Magic Door. The price was great, checking-in was pretty simple, and the staff was great (also communicated before hand about our arrival time which was very appreciated). The room has heat, A/C, a television, WiFi, secured doors into building, elevator and individual rooms, and basic bathroom amenities, as well as a mini shared coffee station. Convenient to the train station, shops, restaurants and many historical sites. This was a great deal for an overnight stay - if you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn’t for you, but this definitely surpasses the basics of hostels or group housing. Definitely recommend for single or couples looking for an affordable option in Rome!

The owners were very helpful and kind. Clean room and bathroom. Located in a convenient spot to walk to most major sites in Rome. Plenty of shops, laundry, and food around the hotel.

Quarto muito bom recomendo, apesar de banheiro pequeno na área de banho. Não gostei das taxas além do combinado, era pra pagar 123 reais e lá tive que pagar 104 euros(724 reais ainda).

This is not a hotel, it’sa guest house. No front desk. If you arrive before 9:30 you can not drop your luggage. The lady in the little check in rooms leaves at 8, so be careful if you arrive after that time. You will be in the street with your luggage. Bathroom is so small ac200 lbs men barely fit in the shower. A very small elevator to bring you luggage up to the second fllo, have to drag the luggage up to a lot os stairs. Not a good experience . They need to put in big letter Outs a guest housey

Man hatte zig Schlüssel, bis man zum Zimmer gekommen ist. Zumindest für den Eingang ins Stockwerk und ins Zimmer wäre ein Kartenschlüssel eine bessere Alternative. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist auch sehr veraltet ind zusammengewürfelt. Aber immerhin war das Zimmer sauber.

Nice little hotel

While the building does have an elevator, it is not available for this particular property, which was disappointing because that was one of the reasons why we selected this particular hotel...to avoid having to carry luggage up stairs...luckily it was only one floor that we had to carry our bags up. Also, the furniture (night stands) are pretty much patio furniture. There's nothing in particular wrong with that, but it seemed odd to us. The shower was incredibly small, if you're a bigger guy, you may have some trouble squeezing into it. The staff, however, was very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The hallway lights are on a motion detector, so they remain dark at night unless someone is in the hallway, which we thought was quite clever. The building itself is beautiful, with a lovely courtyard. Had it not been raining, while we were there, we probably would have spent some time perhaps with a takeaway lunch or breakfast. The train station is fairly close by, so if you're planning to arrive or leave by train, that might be a consideration as well. The hotel is also on the edge of a park, and we noticed they were showing films in the park at night, but we were too worn out to wander over and check them out.

The area is perfect to walk around as there are lots of dining options available for a short distance as well as convenience stores. Metro very close by which made exploring the city easy and getting around at a low price not complicated. The place was very secure to get inside which was comforting. The cleanliness/bathroom could have been a little better but it was overall okay. Staff however was excellent and very helpful in showing around as well as so so friendly and prompt at responding messages
