This is such a lovely place to stay in Rome, while a little far from the major attractions, it’s fairly accessible and in a nice neighborhood. The hosts are so welcoming and cheerful, they bring so much life and positivity to this property, the rooms are basic but perfectly comfortable and the air conditioning is a blessing in the summer! The free breakfast is also nice, with fresh juices and coffee as well! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed for three nights and are absolutely satisfied. Room was large and clean, beds were good and in general it was nice and quiet. Breakfast is simple continental breakfast, but Veronica (the owner) and her father have a service attitude lifting the atmosphere above 100%👍! They are so helpfull and friendly. We will definitely come back, next time we visit Rome👍.

Loved this lovely old quirky property. Veronica made us feel welcome from the start. Nice little breakfast room with good choice of food, where you could also make yourself a drink out of breakfast hours. Veronica advised us which buses to get for the various sites. Would definitely hear again if we visit Rome again.

Comfortable, clean apartment in a beautiful historical building. There is public transport a five-minute walk away, which takes you in to the city centre within 15 mins or so. It’s also about 10-12 mins by bus to the main train station. The neighbourhood is safe and offers some great traditional restaurants nearby. The hosts are very friendly and offer breakfast daily.

The hotel is in a great location with an excellent restaurant right on the corner that gives you discount if you staying at this B&B. The area is filled with locals, which makes your stay more delightful. The family that runs the place is absolutely amazing and will provide you with a real Italian experience. They make you feel like a part of the family. Transit is nearby and will give you access to all attractions in Rome. You won’t regret of lodging at La Breccia at Porta Pia. We will be back, for sure.

Really enjoyed the stay as the location is great the rooms are clean and the Host is very helpful. Public transport is nearby with many restaurants within a 5 min walk. Breakfast includes only sweet options with coffee, nothing savoury.

Very safe neighborhood with some excellent restaurants nearby. We didn't take any public transportation so I can't comment on how close the hotel was to buses or the underground. The room was a bit bleak but I believe it matched the photos. The breakfast was adequate but not many options. Cappucino, tea, juices, various pasties, cakes. For the price and a few nights it worked.

Very disappointed, I read reviews before I booked and thought this would be a good experience based what others had said. I contacted them before arrival and thought someone would be at the property, but we found an envelope taped to the door with a key. Our room was not cleaned until the last day , we were there 5 days, no clea. Towels were available, no linen change, there were holes in the threadbare linens. Walls and floor were dirty! The bed was very uncomfortable! And had a bumpy feel. Worst bed I ever slept in! And no one ever at the property to talk about problems there. Then they described the breakfast as a buffet: there was only cake and croissants, with coffee if you know how to use the Nespresso machine. The location was described as close to the train. Station, it is not! It is outside city walls and a $20 taxi ride to go anywhere! There is no shopping or restaurants nearby, be warned, if you are looking for any assistance, there is no one at the property. We did not see anyone till we were leaving, so they could collect the city tax $! I feel this property was totally mis represented! I do not recommend to anyone.
