What an excellent little apartment for a four day stay in Rome. It was centrally located in a quiet area, close to transportation. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The staff was pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others!

Nice hotel (odd on 3rd floor), great base for all the places of interest plus good spot for Uber pickup or close to metro. Rooms good & clean, breakfast really good and staff really great.

Very quick stay as we had an early morning flight but the room was perfect for my family and the A/C worked perfectly. Especially with how humid it was in the summer time when we went, the A/C was a blessing

This was not setup like a traditional hotel. It was a building with multiple residents and a floor converted to house people. Although it was clean and the people were nice, the communication on how to gain entrance to the building was not clear. The air conditioner unit leaked and caused a large puddle on the floor that dripped on you every time you walked under it. The staff were helpful and coordinated transportation for us that we appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay. The room was exceptionally clean and well cared for. The tub was amazing and the bed super comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and there to answer any question we had…super helpful. We loved the ambience and meeting people from around the world. Great neighborhood with lovely cafes and restaurants just feet away. Would definitely stay there again.

Very Good.

Only one night here but would definitely stay again. Very clean. Mini fridge in the room was a bonus. Comfortable beds. Staff was very helpful. 3rd floor but there is a lift!

Wonderful little hotel in the heart of Rome

A great little hotel for those looking to have a safe, clean, and accommodating place to stay while our exploring the city. Riccardo was an amazing host and made the arrival process incredibly easy, as we came late on a delayed train. The room was perfect for our last minute one night stay, in a great area, with lovely staff. My parents were arriving the day we checked out, but as our BnB wasn’t available until 3pm, Riccardo took special care with our accommodations in order to make something we could leave our bags for a bit and get a lunch. Will definitely be coming back!

They know and love their job

Very professional and friendly staff. - We wanted to leave the hotel because of the malfunction that happened, in the end we stayed, after the reaction of the staff, which exceeded our expectations. On every occasion, the staff went above and beyond.

Cool room in traditional building

Great and friendly staff. It was easy to self check in after 4 pm. Breakfast was cold but had several options. Room AC was strong and room was clean. Bathroom needed some TLC on the fixtures but was usable and clean.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Ercoli for ten nights. I am very thankful for the staff at this hotel. William and Ricardo went above and beyond to assist with our needs. For example, they provided excellent recommendations for where to eat or shop. Ricardo went out of his way to find us a scale to check the weight of our luggage. If you want to save money and are willing to walk to the main attractions like me; this is a great option. Overall, my mom and I had a phenomenal experience!

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and while the room was very clean it was let down by the bathroom, the entire chipboard vanity top was covered in white mould and there was loads of other mould in the bathroom it was not ideal at all, the shower screen didn’t close all the way leading to water all over the bathroom floor and being a European bathroom it was so tiny you had to sit sideways on the toilet due to the vanity being in your lap, not ideal. Anyway aside from that the hotel was fairly central and easy to walk to the attractions we wanted to see, lots of food options around to choose from and the staff were very helpful

The only problem encounter with that location was a very nil reception on arival. Ring at the door and nobody answer make you feel in trouble. For the rest of the experience we were plenty satisfied. Very helpfull to get a taxi to the train station even it seem a miracle to get one.

Ercoli Hotel June-July 2023

We traveled as a family (four people) and stayed in this hotel for three nights. The hotel is located on the third floor of the house. We arrived in the evening and the keys were already in an envelope with my name at the reception. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and kind people. Only one host speaks English. The hosts told me about the sights, restaurants nearby, and dangerous areas of Rome to visit. The breakfasts and coffee were delicious. Our room was clean, service was daily and of good quality. The room had air conditioning which is very good because it was hot in Rome. Unfortunately, our room did not have a small fridge and last night there was no hot water in the shower.
