The house is nicely decorated and equipped with all things needed, also a convenient location for sight-seeing. The air-conditioning was a plus:) However, we could only check-in either at 7 or 10pm, we hope the check-in time was more flexible so that we could have avoided the late check-in fee, since we are traveling and it's hard to know when exactly we will arrive.

No so good as would have liked

The place was an original stone building very quaint with a verandah with grapes over hanging. However, there was a mix up with our payment through Hotels.com and either the residence or Hotels would own the blunder, which left us standing in the car park in the heat for 2 1/2 hours. Not happy.... In the end the residence rented us a space although we had to pay again and be refunded our original payment by Hotels.com. Also lost my Hotels rewards for the cancelation of the booking. Though Hotels gave us a nights free accommodation to redeem at another time. In the end we got a unit for 4 nights as planned but it was smaller than the original one booked. Service was great after that. However accommodation was old and little, kitchen under resourced, no tea towel or plug for sink, bathroom tiny, very old washing machine, sheets had holes in them pillows had seen better days and mattress don’t even ask. No view as thought from advertising. For the cost I would have preferred to pay the double amount per night and have a water view and all the creature comforts.
