5th floor complex room rental w/ diy breakfast

The host is very nice and flexible with time. She's reachable by text. This is not a typical bed and breakfast. More like a room rental. You serve yourself breakfast in the kitchen such as toast and yogurt. This is deep within a gated apartment complex and not on the water. If you want a taste of living in Northern Rome, that would be a reason to try this out. It's on the 5th floor. There's an elevator - they call it "automatic" because you do not manually open the first set of doors. Most people are residents. It's rather noisy at night - dogs and echoing hallway talk. The host has 2 dogs that should be noted. The space and rooms are very clean. The kitchen is mini and there's no living room space. They rent 2 rooms. I never saw the other guest but the walls are thin so you know when people are home.

Pasqua a Roma

Siamo appena rientrati dalle feste di Pasqua da questo b&b . Devo ammettere che la titolare nonché abitante , nella restante parte integrante dell appartamento, e’ molto gentile e disponibilissima. per quanto riguarda la camera ... essendo al 5 piano di un palazzo ( zona eccellente per soggiornare a Roma in quanto tranquillissima ma allo stesso tempo 10 minuti di tram linea 2 sei in centro) occorrerebbe mettere una griglia nella finestra del bagno perché e’ molto periocoloso.... con dei bambini se ti sfugge L occhio in bagno e si affaccia alla vasca in bagno appunto rimane molto pericolo perciò io avrei messo quantomeno una griglia per tutelare questa cosa che secondo me e’ da fare quanto prima... neo grande: la pulizia.... allora io sono di una precisione disarmante ma devo ammettere che non posso dare il massimo perché ho trovato parquet non pulitissimo ... vetri pieni di condensa e pertanto io solleciterei al filippino di pulire ma pulire sul serio. Altro bei grandissimo: bottiglie di shampoo , bagnoschiuma e sapone intimo non usa e getta ma bensì bottiglie che toccano tutti in quanto non sono flaconcini ma vere e proprio bottiglione super economy che ovviamente non vengono cambiate pertanto i clienti da una notte all altra rimangono sempre quelle quindi non in condizioni igieniche del tutto ideali. Ascensore ok .... tutto bene!! Voto : 7 ... per il posto , la tranquillita’ E la gentilezza della signora forse ma dicono forse ritornerei.

Very quiet but close enough to the center of Rome

The owner, Lia, was a wonderful hostess and most helpful with our needs to make our holiday easy and enjoyable. The location is in a safe, quiet residential area with easy walks, access to grocery, restaurants, and public transportation. Elevator to upper floor made convenient luggage transfer. Our room was big, clean and comfortable with quality linens and daily bed and towel service. The breakfast bar well stocked with juice, coffees and refrigerator open to personal use. We had a private bathroom and jacuzzi tub which made us feel like we were at home. Dependable and secure wifi. Highly recommend for business or liesure travelers.

Molto bello al quartiere Flaminio.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 4 giorni in questo B&B e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La camera, anche se non grande, era gradevole e pulitissima, proprio come il bagno. Buona la colazione. Posizione molto comoda per raggiungere il centro con i mezzi pubblici. La signora Lia è molto gentile e disponibile. Lo consigliamo senz'altro!

A New Year's Eve getaway

We were celebrating our first anniversary with a trip to Italy during the holidays. We booked with Lia specifically because we wanted to be out of the Old City for New Year's Eve. We had a very private, romantic, low key celebration on the roof with a panoramic view of the horizon and all the fireworks the city had to offer at the stroke of midnight! We thoroughly enjoyed Lia's hospitality, and our room was exactly what we expected. She recommended several restaurants in the area for dinner on New Year's Eve. One of them was Da Palotte which was absolutely amazing. The whole trip was fabulous. Lia was very kind and gracious and gave fantastic advice about where to go and how to get there!! Exceptional experience. We are STILL talking about it!

klein, aber fein! in ruhiger Lage in Rom!

Im 5. Stock in einem 1925 erbauten Haus, welches sich in einer sehr grünen Wohnanlage befindet, übernachteten wir (2Erwachsene und 1 Kind). Die Lage ist für römische Verhältnisse sehr ruhig. Gute Anbindung zur Innenstadt mit Straßenbahn (4Stationen). Das Zimmer hatte 12m² und ein sehr schönes Bad. Für einen Rombesuch zu empfehlen. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Dieses B&B ist sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Lia's is in an apartment complex, 15 minutes by tram from the Piazza di Popolo, the metro, and easy reach to all the sites. A quiet, residential neighborhood away from the hubbub.

IDEAL B&B A ROME

J'ai passé cinq jour à la Casa di Lia pendant le mois de juillet et je suis tombé sous le charme. Le quartier, excentré mais proche du centre ville par le Tram 2 et près du Parco della Musica (où je participais à une conférence), permet de découvrir un quartier véritable de Rome, loin des restaurants pour touristes. Accueil parfait, chambre idéal pour se reposer, très calme. Petit déjeuner délicieux en self service. Rien à dire, vraiment un très bon rapport qualité prix.
