Spacious and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom apartment a short walk from St. Peter's Square. We only stayed for one night but the accommodation is well provisioned for an extended stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We especially appreciated their advice for visiting Vatican City and their recommendations for dining nearby.

Wonderful Italian Hospitality

The host was super. They were available to make our stay exceptional. Great communication from booking until checkout. Wonderful location. Close walking distance to the Vatican and good restaurants.

Guido, the owner, was absolutely amazing. Guido responded very quickly to our inquiries, was very accomodating and pleasant. If we needed anything, Guido was right there to assist us. He also recommended a fantastic restaurant to us. And he was right. It was fantastic and right down the street from our unit. The B&B was in a perfect location for us. It is very walkable to the Vatican, St. Peter's Square and Basilica, Sant Angelo Castle among other points of interest. The variety of breakfast items, coffees, juices, etc. were the best we have ever encountered. If you are looking for a place to stay in Rome, don't pass this one up.

Home Away From Home

Such a wonderful host, full of knowledge and love of his city. The apartment is lovely with an abundance of food available for breakfast and snacks. We look forward to coming back someday!

A perfect stay in Rome

The owners of B&B Roma Borgo 91 are wonderful people, very kind, accommodating, and hospitable. We had an amazing stay, the room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was great. It is in a great location near Vatican City and Central Rome. We highly recommend Roma Borgo!

B and B excellent value, especially when you work in free breakfast, some of which can be packed and brought for a free lunch, not to mention the excellent tips and even historical background of Rome provided by host Guido. Place is just steps from the Vatican too.

Breakfast supplies good, good location, not very clean, very very poor bed, worst part was the owner’s helper left us waiting in the street for 30 minutes after us giving multiple updates on our arrival time. Would not recommend this place.

This was a real gem of a find. Close to the Vatican and nearby restaurants which didnt break the budget. We were welcomed by the amazing Guido, his knowledge of the attractions were next to none, he took time to show us on the map places we woud never have thought to go, where to eat organised our taxi to the airport, his advice was invaluable. He prepared the breakfast each day and we had a dedicated shelf in the fridge with an abundance of food, which we could use anytime of the day! Fresh fruit, tea and tea and coffee also readily available. Our room was large, comfortable beds, fresh towels, and we liked the towelling robe supplied. The external private bathroom was compact, powerful shower. There are 2 rooms in total whuch are let, but i was a bit nervous about that, but we we were were all so busy our paths rarely crossed. Overal i woukd highly recommend staying there and would return..

Guido is friendly, he communicated well for check-in, allowed to leave our bags on check-out day till our departure. Guido's appartment is across the street. He walked us into the rented place, made coffee, duscussed our plans, made suggestions on day walk in city center.Appartment is clean, well maintained. Bedroom is spacious enough, plenty of room in wardrobe to put, hang clothes. Bathroom is in common hall (living room and kitchen), small, but new, clean and dedicated to your room. Kitchen has everything to have a snack, drink in day time. You will have your breakfast food stocked in fridge, and it is very hearty: milk, juices, cheese, meat - you won't be able to eat everything. Appartment is at the first floor. You can walk or use elevator. The street is not busy.

***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** 5 stars for location - 5 min by walk to the Vatican, 20 mn by walk to Trastevere and Pantheon. 5 stars for customer service - excellent communication from the owner and his staff. The owner really makes a great effort to accommodate you as much as possible. Early check in, late checkout, airport transfers organised and way cheaper than a taxi. 5 stars for the rooms, communal area and breakfast - we booked the two rooms of the B&B. We had the entire place for us. The breakfast is great and big. 5 stars for the aircon - it was heatwave in Rome and 40 degrees everyday. We really appreciated to have the air con in our bedroom and communal space. We also really appreciated to have double glaze windows. The bedrooms were really quiet. I highly recommend this place. I will stay there again next time I am in Rome. Excellent place and owners. *****

It was easy walking distance to the Vatican, restaurants and shops, the Tiber river and famous bridges and the castel sant’Angelo. I loved having a separate living area and lots of fruit was provided. A very friendly host, great stay.

A perfect home away from home!

Our stay at Borgo 91 was fantastic! Spotlessly clean, wonderful neighborhood, great location, satisfying breakfast. And especially the host who is very friendly and willing to share his passion for all things Rome. He had recommendations for places to eat and see art. We highly recommend B&B Borgo for your stay in Rome near Vatican City.

A very nice, updated apartment conveniently located 3 blocks from The Vatican. Safe area. The host, Guido, graciously allowed us to drop off our luggage early and greeted us upon arrival. Our room was nice and had a safe and a room key. The fridge was filled with juice, milk, fruit and other foods. Wonderful 3-night stay while we explored Rome.

This B&B was a great choice. It’s in the centre of Vatican City and only a 15 minute taxi ride from the downtown train station. It was very clean and comfortable and Guido, the host is very knowledgeable about the whole area so he offered a lot of helpful information. There were plenty of breakfast options at the B&B and dozens of great restaurants within easy walking distance. My wife used one of the Hop on Hop off sightseeing tours when we stayed there and one of the stops is only a 15 minute walk from Roma Borgo. I would definitely recommend Roma Borgo!
