Nice room conveniently located
There were many positives regarding our stay at B&B Eternal Rome Inn. We were warmly welcomed by Franca, who spent generous time helping to acclimate us to Rome, offering tips for getting around and suggestions of things to do. Since we were going to be leaving too early the next morning to have a prepared breakfast, she took us into the kitchen and showed us how to help ourselves to tea, coffee and coffeecake. Our room was lovely and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was very convenient, about a 10 minute walk to St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums in one direction, and a 10 minute walk to the train station in the other direction. We were welcomed more like friends than paying guests. Franca set a lovely table and prepared a nice breakfast for our other days. A couple FYIs: You should be aware that there are stairs to walk up and no elevator. Also, the bathroom is very tiny. It was adequate for us, but larger people might find it difficult. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we would stay again.
