Small but comfortable room. Everything worked, AC, heat, mini fridge, hot water. Lots of things to do just out the front door…good variety of restaurants, convenience stores and even a supermarket down the street. Metro was about 1/4 mile away and convenient to use to get us to the Vatican and coliseum. Would do business with Paolo again. Paolo was very responsive.

Very pleasant stay

We only stayed one night at the accommodation, but it was exactly as advertised. Large room, satisfactory bathroom and good location. I would definitely come back again.

Paolo was super nice and helpful. Because it’s a shared unit in a building with a private room and bathroom, you could hear the other apartments very easily, was noisy with doors slamming but very clean and cute room with a terrace

Very responsive host. Although when we arranged to drop our luggage off early at the restaurant next store they want us to leave them in the basement where anyone could come by. So we decided to just eat and wait for the room to be ready. Room is just like the picture shows very clean and beds were comfortable. AC worked well. Only thing we found odd was there was a mandatory cleaning time window that we had to be out of the room and when they came in the room to clean, they tidied up our belongings (like our clothes etc). Much more than any other place we’ve ever stayed. The subway is about a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast is a coupon for a pastry at a nearby restaurant.

Great & convenient

Very convenient location to Metro, train& bus. Train to airport is7 minutes walk. The place is a bit small for what we are used to but clean. The owner, Paolo was friendly & helpful in providing information for the surrounding attractions. We enjoyed the stay.

PAOLO IS A GOOD HOST. HIS INSTRUCTIONS NEED TO BE A BIT CLEARER. AREA AROUND APT LOOKS SKETCHY BUT NICE RESTAURANTS AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE. BED IS WORN OUT ESPECIALLY ON LEFT SIDE. ALL IN ALL A GOOD LOCATION AND IS PRICED RIGHT.

Paolo's place is surprisingly clean. He and his staff are very nice and helpful. Easy access to the bus stop and train station, while it's not too close to tourist attractions. Breakfast at Angelina cafe is superb with italian local vibe. Highly recommended.

Excellent

Excellent. This place had a great price, comfortable bed, decent sized bathroom. The room was not huge, but consistent with the price. There are many restaurants in the area. The Ostiense Train Station is a few minutes walk. Angelina's cafe was excellent, both for coffee and drinks, and dinner.

Great host and super location

Paulo was an amazing host. He definitely deserves the label super host. Our room was immaculate during our stay. We wanted to stay longer but no rooms were available. We are definitely booking here again. The location was perfect. The Metro and Train were nearby. Also so many good restaurants in the neighborhood. Much love to Paolo.

Great location for local restaurants off the beaten track. Close to a metro station, room was spotless. Owner took great pride in his rooms. 30min walk to the coliseum. Great for couples. And will definitely rebook in the future.

Paolo was great and helpful with instructions. For us, the property was far too loud for a good night’s sleep. Horns beeping and hearing traffic right outside the window and when people entered the accommodation- even though they were very quiet- we would be woken up by the keys and you could hear voices, snoring, sneezing next door. Always tidy and clean as there were cleaners each day (however for us, it’s strange for our culture for cleaners to move our belongings around the room to tidy up- some people may love that!) It was very convenient for the train station and walking around in Rome. Plenty of places to eat too.

Great place, strange check-in/out time

Great place, with great location and great cleanliness. The host is friendly and very communicative. The only inconvenience was a slight pressure to leave at 11:00 am on the day of check-out. We were already scheduled to leave at this time, but successive messages caused discomfort - mainly because we were only able to check-in at 3:30 pm, an hour and thirty minutes later than is common at other establishments. The feeling is that we were forced to enter later and leave earlier.

We had an wonderful time staying at Paolo's b&b. This was our first trip out of North America and he was extremely helpful and patient with us. He was very helpful with directions and recommending local services. The breakfast everyday was a coffee (cappuccino, espresso, café americano) and a great quality croissant (a variety of choices for fillings) from local cafes. It was delicious and we will miss it. Less than a ten minute walk to the nearest metro and only minutes away from a bus stop. Little mini marts, laundromat, and pharmacy were also nearby. Very clean and staff came in daily to organize our belongings and remove trash. Paolo was a wonderful host. Very kind, direct, and encouraging when we tried practicing our Italian. We highly recommend using his b&b for your next trip to Rome.

Room and bathroom were super clean. The location is very practical. Bus stop, cafe, supermarket all within 5 min walking distance. However, key pick-up did not work. We had to wait for nearly 45min even if we were promised the key will be ready for pick-up at the cafe. The owner sends multiple emails per day what to do and what not to do ("the rules"). The cleaning stuff is touching everything. Literally everything. Even worn cloth. City tax need to be paid in cash and is nowhere mentioned. We didn´t felt comfortable
