" Wir waren für drei Nächte dort. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wir schätzten die Lage des Hauses, weil es unmittelbar neben dem wunderschönen Quai liegt. Der nahe Bahnhofsplatz mit den vielen Bussen störte uns nicht. Die Beleuchtung über den Betten ist sehr ungünstig angebracht und viel zu hell. Wenn die eine Person noch lesen möchte, stört das den Partner nebenan empfindlich. An der Rezeption wurden wir gut beraten, was Ausflüge betrifft. Alles in allem: der Aufenthalt dort ist sehr zu empfehlen!"

"Hotel Walhalla was such a beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I stayed one night and found the room to be very spacious, clean, and updated. The location is very convenient as it is right across from the tram stops and the train station making it very easy for travelers like myself. It’s also super close to some main attractions like the Abbey Library which was only a 9 minute walk. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was complimentary with the stay. Would definitely stay here if you are looking for a very nice and safe hotel in St. Gallen."

"Shame there is no restaurant anymore. Good selection for breakfast, all nicely laid out but the hot food - scrambled egg, bacon, sausage had been on display for a long time and was cold. Parking very expensive."

"Very well located in the Altstadt, no more than a few minutes’ walk from the ferry quay and the railway station. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good."

"A modern hotel cloaked in an aged skin. Sometimes wish they wouldn't but there is nothing to complain of. Everything was clean and convenient...Lovely location."
