"When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena. When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms. He then told us the restaurant on site is closed and so was the pool. It was early evening when we arrived. "This is a very modern and traditional hotel. If you're familiar with hotels in the United States of America this will feel like a traditional high quality property. Unfortunately, I only stayed for a single night so I didn't get to really experience all of the hotel's amenities. The bistro was nice. I had a larger lunch before arriving so for dinner I basically had an appetizer. It was good. Breakfast was a typical buffet style. There were plenty of options. Instead of a barista, an automated machine would make your coffee. It was quick, but I did miss that personal quality of a well prepared cappuccino in the morning. I stayed in early August so the restaurant was closed. It did look rather nice and I would have liked to try it."

"Excelente opción para llegar en familia. Está muy cerca del centro a distancia razonable para caminar. Si vas en carro, no deja de haber un reto para encontrar parqueos en las inmediaciones. El sistema de llave de la habitación hay que mejorarlo. Está a la antigua que se abre con una llave tradicional y el llavero pesa mucho. Muy recomendable para ir en familia"

"Staff were super friendly and helpful. They had kindly upgraded my room for free but meant it didn’t have the sofa bed that I needed for my son but they quickly sorted it out and moved us. Hotel is a good location for walking to the city centre and train station. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the level of the breakfast. For the price (I didn’t get it included in my room rate) the selection was good but I struggled to equate it to the cost. Otherwise the hotel was good."
