When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena.
When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms.
He then told us the restaurant on site is closed and so was the pool. It was early evening when we arrived.
We asked if there is anywhere to get food and he said he would tell us where but then picked up a phone call and talked on the phone most of the time while he took us to the room.
Very briefly showed us what is where and told us to leave keys on the table when checking out ... he left to not be seen again and there appear to have been no other guests.
When trying to leave our room the door handle fell off as a screw was loosened on it which was super weird.
The place is clean and pretty but was not worth the money.
Trying to get back to modena we learned quickly that not all taxi companies drive to there to pick up.
Same with food delivery no one drives there to deliver food.
