There was a bbq, outdoor setting and a bench with stools which was perfect for sitting back relaxing with a drink or two. "I had a great time here and the place had a good atmosphere. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and I feel like they always wanted to help. The hostel offers a free shuttle bus which was good too considering how late we arrived on the Greyhound. The room itself was nice, pretty basic but for the low price paid this was expected. "This was a super comfy country stay. Good bed, spacious room, dated but clean bathroom. Room had entry front and back which was nice for a breeze. Ate in the restaurant for dinner - tasty food and friendly service - and then a continental breakfast included the next morning. And a couple of dips in the pool. This place is a great option for a self-contained highway stay. And pet-friendly - we didn't have ours with us but a few others did, and there are plenty of nice outdoor grassed area to take the dog for a wander. "
