「This is the rare 5-star B&B that actually earns its rating. The house is a beautiful, art filled home where attention is paid to every detail. The host and hostess are lovely and their entire focus is on making their guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. 「Beautifully decorated room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. We had food and drinks at the Seadog pub which we would highly recommend. The only downside was the noise which was to be expected above a pub on a Saturday night but could also hear people going up and down the stairs during the night. Otherwise could not fault and host very helpful.」

「stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker」

「After changing our room we had an excellent stay. Please note that if you book two single beds and a walk-in shower, you will not stay in the old part of the hotel. That part dates from 1600 and is really beautiful with its history. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.」
