「FOUND HOTEL TO BE QUAINT & A PLEASANT, UNIQUE PLACE TO STAY. VERY COMFORTABLE ROOM WITH GOOD FACILITIES. DID NOT NEED TO INTERACT WITH STAFF.」

「Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, and a hot cooked breakfast. The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay. We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )」

「The bathroom lock door is non-existent and broken. There are some stains on the carpet. Quite disappointing that there is no mini fridge in the room. 」

「Communication from them was fantastic, they let you know everything you need to do to access the property. Room was lovely and clean. Directions to property were very clear (unless you're an idiot like me who doesn't read them properly!) Had one issue in the early hours of the morning as the room next door was being really noisy but I messaged the property and they sorted it out within about 5 mins. Would happily stay here again.」

「Spend 1 night here. Smallish room with a double bed. For me, the rooms are not sound proof. When someone next door was in the bathrooms, you could hear the water running/shower/sink. Also doors banged loudly. Cleanliness not 100%. The remote control was dirty, looks like it is never cleaned with a hygiene wipe. Same as the light switches, you could see all the grime from dirty hands. I sent a couple of messages to the hotel direct through Expedia and they never replied. I...

「The staff are fantastic. I notified a member of the bar staff that we had a booking and he got me checked in immediately, sorted our keys out for us and showed me the room. He gave me good detail about the hotel and the fire exits, door keys etc. The rooms are separated from the pub by a locked door that you're given a key for. This is very reassuring and secure. The pub itself was quiet before too late so getting to sleep was easy. The fan in the room was very much appreciated as we stayed...

「We couldn’t check in as the conditions of the place was unbearable. We quickly booked another place and left. Awaiting my refund. 」

「The biggest bugbear was the remote control in my room. Although the rest of the room was clean, the remote was not. As well as being dusty, the grime between the numbers/keys was disgustingly dirty. I only used the remote twice to switch on and off and washed my hands immediately after.」
