「Rooms are clean, staff very helpful, free parking」

「Friendly staff. Upon arrival, there isn’t a person permanently at the check-in desk…not really a problem, but if there was a sign directing newcomers to the bar for assistance, that would help. I wish there were fridges in the rooms. But the shower was great, room was clean, and a kettle for tea/coffee worked great. And the food available at the attached pub is excellent. Just be careful as the pub is popular and while there is plenty of parking for residents, it’s shared with the pub. And the...

「Great location, with lovely views over the surrounding moors. Excellent range of food and wines very reasonably priced. Bed room was spacious and spotless clean. Will return in the future for sure.」

「Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend」

「Great location. Modern, clean room. Great food. Very helpful staff. Love it!!」

「Convenient location and parking. Food was pretty good in the bar. Room would benefit from upgrading, it was dated and the bed was uncomfortable.」

「With an awesome location and super helpful staff, Abel Heywood is definitely our choice of staying in Manchester. This is the second time already and it never disappoint us. Good job and hope to see you guys soon:)」

「I am absolutely appalled by the service received by Haworth Old Hall. Booked a night away via Expedia. Confirmation of booking received immediately. Over 24 hours later - the day of check in, I got a phone call advising they had double booked and there was no room available for us. We had to cancel everything as all other Haworth hotels were fully booked. I have emailed and rang them and messaged on here - no response - they have taken my money and have not refunded it - do not trust here」

「Great hotel, lovely food, friendly staff and a comfy bed.」
