"The responsiveness was one thing I would definitely say was good. There were not great instructions on finding the place especially as a tourist but once we found it there was no key in the lockbox so we could not get in. When I reached out about this someone was able to meet us immediately and we got a very quick response. Once in the apartment, it was very hot and the AC is slow working. The AC also makes a very high pitched noise after about 15 minutes making it impossible to sleep with it on...

"What an absolutely fantastic place to stay! Everything about this was just lovely. Amazing location, for starters. Everything you could want is within a four or five minute walk. A very lively atmosphere. The apartment itself was just lovely. Bright, with big windows and an utterly enormous terrace where we spent a lot of time relaxing. And the apartment was QUIET. We did not get what we paid for and are very disappointed with the lack of explanation, apology and compensation from the owners/managers and Expedia. "One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy! We loved Genova! The hotel was in a perfect location. The train station was a 5 minute walk to Genova Brignole which connected us to so many places including La Spezia, Rome, Pisa, Cinque Terre, etc. The bus station was also a 5 minute walk and we took buses 31 and 13 to the port and to Nervi as was Volabus to the airport (10 Euro, be on time though. It stops for 1 minute). Lots of dining options within walking distance (downtown area). The rooms were terrifc, just like the pictures showed...clean, neat and modern! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Monica suggested using the Volabus to the airport and another staff member took my request for an early morning breakfast bag since I was going to miss breakfast (I had paid for the breakfast pkg) and lo and behold at 4:45 am, there was a bag with juice, croissants, apple and spreads including plastic cutlery. I am so grateful. Thank you so much! "

Prime location, walkable to major tourist sites

"Excellent hotel with brilliant location in the centre of Genoa. Almost every major site is walkable from the hotel. Because of the prime location however, the hotel only provides valet parking (at a fee). Room was great, as was breakfast. We didn’t try the bar or restaurants so cannot comment. There are plenty of food options available around the hotel, and it felt very safe to walk around during the daytime and evenings. "
