The hotel itself is charming and well-situated, though the walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers may want to pack earplugs. Still, it’s hard to complain when you wake up to views like that. 「Très bonne expérience dans un hôtel récemment rénové. Chambre calme, propre et confortable avec un balcon d'angle (chaises et table) donnant sur les montagnes au loin. Idéalement situé pour se rendre aux bains de lavey et non loin de Montreux. Grand parking.」

「Le personnel à l'accueil très sympathique et il y a un emplacement pour mettre en sécurité le vélo. Emplacement de l'hôtel en vieille ville très bien. Le tram passe sous la fenêtre mais ne circule pas la nuit donc ça va.」

「We loved staying at Hôtel Masson! My husband and I are fans of historic hotels and this one is a jewel of a place. As the oldest hotel in the area, it is simply charming. The rooms are spacious while being cozy. The beds are comfortable, and the bar/salon is classic and elegant. We found the staff warm and friendly, especially Karine who took such excellent care of us. Dinner was delicious. Only positive things to say about Hôtel Masson! 」

「職員態度友善有禮，房間寬敞整潔除睡房外，還有客廳，廚房，雪櫃和焗爐。房間面湖景，漂亮。美中不足是沒有洗衣設備，酒店介紹資料顯示有洗衣設備但實際是要交職員代為處理，收費昂貴，一件短褲或T袖收費各CHF8,兩件合共，CHF16。另外是早餐食物款式少，很基本食物，主要提供麵包，果汁及熱飲及一些乳酪及配料等。」

It is a classic 5 star service combined with the warm hospitality of the owner family. This mix and the beautiful setting is getting rare in the world of hospitality.
