Upgraded our room as soon as we checked in...Starfish Mini Suite was VERY small. New room (Siesta) was great! Transportation from airport had been pre arranged and we ended up waiting 45+ minutes when we landed. Loved sitting on the Dock of the Bay & pool/bar was amazing!

The property was not as it appeared in photos. There was a pile of junk just down from our room and their workshop was right across which smelled of chemicals. Our room had such a strong mold smell that we woke up the first morning congested, sneezing and coughing. We checked out and found another place to stay that morning.

We had a great week at Caribe Tesoro. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach and overlooking the water. It’s a small boutique hotel so it didn’t feel busy and the staff are always available to help you. The breakfast menu is somewhat limited but all of the options are great. We had the BEST experience at Caribe Tesoro! The staff made us feel totally at home and welcomed us like family. The location couldn't be beat - set on the north end of West Bay Beach, but away from the crowds when we wanted a quiet outdoor space. We especially loved Jack greeting us each time we drove in/out of the premises - such a kind soul and always giving us great tips where to go. Myra was like a personal friend and spent time chatting with us about her, and our, scuba endeavors - love that she dives too! Everyone at the restaurant had a smile and kind greeting each day - especially Sherrice, Scott & Sherlyn. Eating over the water was beautiful & serene. The front office ladies made sure our unit was stocked with fresh water, kitchen items and that all our devices had wifi access. Our room was spacious, clean and the price was super affordable. The landscape, maintenance and cleaning crews were always quietly taking care of the premises and making sure everything was in great condition without being intrusive. We can't wait to see everyone at Caribe Tesoro again soon!

Recently spent 10 days at the Caribe Tesoro and everything was just fantastic! The staff there was always making things extra special for us. The location was great as it was just out of the crowds of West bay but just a 5 minute walk to all the great restaurants that Roatan has to offer, we’ll definitely return. Thanks for a great trip, R&R

It was an absolute joy for me and my two sons to stay at this property during merry Christmas holidays. The Manager here Mrs. Victoria is one of the best hostess that I have met. She was very kind and very attentive to the fact that I have two children with me. I will definitely be staying here again no problem but whatsoever during the five nights stay.

This property is well kept and has excellent service personnel in all departments. It is quiet and very relaxing with a beautiful pool, dock, bar area and playground area for kids. I highly recommend a stay here.

The location is away from the crowded beaches to the north, but just a short walk to water activites and water taxis. The accomodations are modest but well intentioned. The reception desk personnel are usual quite competent. The bar/restaurant staff is hit-or-miss, often lacking attention to detail or are difficult to communicate with in English. The pool is decent, but was underfilled for most of our stay, so filtration was turned off and staff manually pulled debris and bugs from the water on a schedule. The stone bridge over the pool and the waterslides are just dangerous.

Small but nice resort. The front desk staff was very kind and always helpful. The resort is a little dated but my room was always well cleaned. I did see two roaches in the bathroom and that scared my daughter badly. Again, the room was very clean! So it could just be one of those things. The breakfast was good but the fruit wasn't always fresh and one day the juice tasted a bit sour. We ate at the bar twice and the fish was very good. The chicken fingers were good too. Service was great as well. The beach was just a short walk from the resort and we really had a great time there. Lots of water activities there and we were able to get lounge chairs and umbrellas for free. My only advice is to be prepared to not have your towel changed everyday. On day two I was told that my towel should be put out to air dry because beach towels are not changed daily. Over my dead body would I use a dirty, salty beach towel twice. Not happening. I did speak with the manager on duty and she accommodated my request to change it daily. Some may be ok with reusing but I wasn't. Just a heads up. We used the pool once and it was nice and warm. It led to the bar which was very convenient. There is parking but it can be tight. Signage for the resort could be better. It's covered up by bushes so we almost missed it.
