「Home away from home」

「I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question.」

「Communication from Nick was 1st class, very good customer service. Have stayed a few times now. The studio i was in this time, waa clean and well presented. The only issues was the floor was creaky going to the en suite. Also the firestick didn't have any sound which it did in the other studio. Not a huge problem, but a smart tv would be a good solution. 」

「Easy check-in, nice clean and quiet room. Unfortunately, I accidentallydamaged what I thought was the bathroom flush, and contacted Nick straight away. He told me not to worry at all, and explained that he would sort the problem out when he arrived. Fantastic owner, I would imagine that certain other people would take advantage of this and try and request extra payment. I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay here again.」

「This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been...
