We didn’t stay because there were 20 stone steps up to the apartment with open railings at the side and landing which we felt was unsafe for us and our dog. Also the fenced in area at ground level was gravel with lots of doors off and nooks and crannies where a dog might go in and be difficult to find
The owner said when I emailed the next day said that they would have blocked off the railings if we had asked but we felt that going up and down these stone steps to take the dog out would have been easy to loose your footing.
There was a nice welcome package of wine, milk, beer, coffee and homemade flapjacks which we appreciated.
The apartment itself was lovely and well presented.
