Really good hotel, clean, comfotable, near everything. Good breakfast with fruits, cakes, breads and grains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is old, but thats the beauty of the city. Downtown Rio has a lot of homeless people, but if u be carefull (not show ur phone and valuable items) you'll be fine. The hotel is in a convenient location, near the busses, metro stations and vlt, and there are a bunch of good restaurants around it too. Will definitely be returning.

Terrible experience. The hotel didn’t have the services listed to the hotel description. Expedia was not able to even contact the hotel. I lost time, money, and had a very bad experience at the hotel. I am leaving Expedia too. They were not able to resolve my issues.

I stay sep 6 to 10, 2024 elevators don't work, dirty, bedsheets with hair, refrigerator and tv don't work. Just part of the decoration. Staff member with bad actitud and only speak portuguese. I was ask 11 times if i was checking out. Front desk staff would not let me into my room becase they didn't understand the room number. DON'T STAY HERE ALSO HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WITH IRINE AND FECAL REMEINS 10 FEET FROM THE BUILDING.

No provision for early arrivals. After traveling 13 hours by plane was asked to wait 6 hours for a room. they wanted $10 per bag to hold them until check-in. The only restroom available was up steep stairs(I am unable to walk up to it.) I paid $70 to get into the room early. The lobby was full of others waiting for check-in. There were no healthy options for the daily breakfast. They made a mistake about my end date causing me to pack and when they discovered I had another day, they offered another room (which I declined.)

Terceira vez que fico neste hotel. A relação custo beneficio é, ao meu ver, imbatível! O hotel é simples, mas atende perfeitamente quem vai ao Rio a trabalho. A cama é ótima, o chuveiro é excelente, o wifi funcionou satisfatoriamente. O café da manhã é simples, mas, para mim, atendeu auper bem. Fui bem atendido por todos. Para mim, vale muito a pena!

Já me hospedei no Itajubá antes. Atendimento da recepção e camareiras muito bom. Todos simpáticos. Meu único incomodo é que o colchão é muito mole. Pra quem problemas de coluna e articulações, não é bom.

Localização formidável, ótimo custo benefício

Internet é o ponto fraco do hotel, na entrada fomos informados que só funciona na recepção, serviços e atendimento no hotel são de qualidade, a cobrança de guarda bagagem mesmo sendo para quem vai se hospedar achei abusiva, equipe da recepção é boa com destaque para Flávio, um cara que agiliza as coisas de forma bem humorada.

Ótimo custo benefício. O hotel tem uma boa localização, ao lado do metrô e vlt cinelândia, e bem próximo dos arcos da lapa. De vlt é possivel ir direto para rodoviária ou para o aeroporto Santos Dumont . O hotel é centenário, mas as instalações estão adequadas. O chão ainda é de taco, o que faz com que fique um pouco de areia nos vãos, mesmo com a limpeza diária. Talvez em uma próxima adequação seja interessante a reforma do piso. Uma ótima opção que eles oferecem é o guarda volumes por 10,00 para a opção de fazer um passeio após chek-out.

Hotel com boa localizacao na regiao central do RJ proximo a bares, restaurantes e a boemia carioca. Um bom café da manha com algumas frutas e variadades de paes e bolos. O quarto possui um bom espaco mas o ar condicionado modelo de janela um pouco tanto barulhento. Um ponto ruim, o hotel nao possui internet nos quartos, o que e lamentável, e a justificativa dada pela recepcao e que as paredes atrapalham o sinal, rsrs. Por tratar-se de um hotel antigo o custo beneficio, acaba sendo valido.

Realmente o hotel me surpreendeu, local de alto nível. Tudo muito antigo, mas sem cheiro de velho, quartos sempre super limpos e o serviço do café da manhã sempre de qualidade.
