"There is a reason the Grandview has become our go-to on our beach getaway trips. This independently run hotel combines a fantastic location -- a minute from the sand, and one of the best beaches in Southern California, in the heart of Hermosa Beach and all it has to offer -- with great service and immaculate, well-equipped rooms. It's right around the corner from a half-dozen great restaurants, and a block from the Hermosa Pier. It's only a few blocks from the famous Strand, and Hermosa Cylcery (a block away) rents pedal as well as e-bikes that you can ride all the way to Venice, if you choose. Sea birds abound, and you can actually hear the waves from your room at night. The staff is friend and efficient. There is nothing we don't like about this hotel, including a very reasonable room rate. Great value all around, can't say enough good things"

"Clear property friendly staff overall experience great unfortunately their shuttle only runs from 6 AM. You have to pay extra if you need to leave earlier than 6 AM."

"The room was spacious and very clean. I had an injury and Noe helped me get my bag to my room. I didn't realize I had a two-room suite with a full kitchen! Yowza. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a 4 or 5-star experience, but the rooms are very clean, in a great location, and Barbara and Noe were super helpful. "

"Loved our stay at this property. The location was great,close to the airport but not noisy. There is a Target next door and multiple dining options and a mall within a 5 minute drive.The area is very safe and we were very comfortable walking around the neighborhood. The pool is heated and was pleasant even in February. Breakfast was very good, and had a daily variety of hot and cold items. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds themselves are very well maintained. The loft unit we stayed in was spatious and quiet. Had 1 separate bedroom on the main floor and a queen bed in the loft. There ate also 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. Loved our stay here and would definitely return if staying in LA again."
