The units are clean and spacious for short-term use. The area is quiet, safe, and beautiful sitting on the waterfront. There are walking paths and many restaurants within walking distance. We had 2 rooms but the layout is not the same. Unit 107's bathroom was extremely small with a bathtub and had only one towel bar. A few hooks would have be useful to hang the towel since there is no other area/hooks or towel bar to hang towels. The other bathroom has a longer vanity, walk-in shower, and hooks. Some instructions like how to turn on the dishwasher would be helpful and a map showing where to park and which elevator to use. Coffee pods were requested via email as instructed but they were never delivered. In unit 105, some cereal were found on the pullout couch. There are no bedsheets set up for the couch.

I was a bit wary about this hotel being fully digital, but it was wonderful! It meant no lines, no waiting, and no fuss. My room was big, cool and comfortable and opened right onto the waterfront walkway. The best part? The rooms are very nearly soundproof. A bachelorette was next to me and I didn’t hear a thing. Only complaint (very minor) is that the bed is right next to the door and you can hear hallway noise and doors slamming shut.

All was well, expensive for the area, we were a party of 5 which we paid royally for and only 3 caffeinated coffee pods😢. Not a great way to start the day Also, the pump didn’t work on the conditioner, which with long hair wasn’t great. The check in has to be from the outside of the building which caused confusion, but once we called and we’re told it has to be on the outside, it worked. Anyways for $600 a night, I expect ease and perfection, and it was not that

The 2 rooms we booked were clean and functional and the location was great and close to the village and on the beautiful waterfront walkway. The pullout was not easy to figure out but we finally got it done. There is no patio to sit on. I booked the Steveston Waterfront Hotel thinking it was actually a hotel but it is really an Air B & B as there is no staff, no lobby etc. I had to call 3 or 4 times before we got there and after regarding codes to get into the building and the rooms. First I didn't get the codes, then they changed. There was no information about where to park, also had to ask about that on the phone as there is no staff. I wouldn't book there again, as I and my friends prefer an actual hotel.

This was our first time staying here and the overall takeaway was mixed. The property is located right along the waterfront which was nice and overall it was clean. We did run into issues immediately with our access code not working for the parking garage. Had to call and get a new code for it to stop working the next day which prompted another call and yet another code. The bathroom sink had a slow leak which soaked the extra roll of toilet paper. The other reviews mentioning how loud the AC OR pipes were are absolutely true, if you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. Honestly, I would prefer a traditional hotel with a lobby and readily available guest services. I would only come back because of the location but not sure even that will bring me back.

I typically like to start with the positives, so I'll begin there. The best—and really the only—positive aspect of this property is its excellent beachfront location. While a fully virtual check-in process is acceptable, it should be clearly disclosed in advance, along with the fact that there is no front desk. I arrived very late that evening and had to call twice just to get information about parking and check-in logistics. As an Expedia Gold member, I did not receive the complimentary bottle of wine that was advertised, Additionally, the dryer was extremely loud and had to be restarted every few minutes. My text and video messages to the hotel's portal about the wine and dryer went unanswered. Overall, the lack of communication, unfulfilled advertised benefits, and unresolved maintenance issues made for a disappointing experience.

So very grateful for the care shown is after traveling from Edmonton with a 16 hour drive as we didn’t want to stop in the interior and take away from families that needed the space after the fires. The staff quickly got our room ready and we collapsed in it early enough to nap and then go for food. And then back to bed. Loved the space and staff were friendly and kind. Will definitely stay again.
