The room itself was very nice, spacious and comfortable. However from the minute we arrived things were chaotic. There was no parking, only a $70 a night valet option. Which was incredibly frustrating. Also the hotel is right across a pub which made things very loud and unsafe for people traveling with families.
Great stay! Warm and friendly staff, nice facilities, good (included) breakfast. Lovely neighborhood, walking distance from Amtrak station. Only drawbacks were that there was no housekeeping service (they had indicated that there would be a room refresh every other day but there wasn't anything during my 4-day stay), and parking is tricky nearby. Valet is costly, and there is no discount for the many expensive parking garages near the hotel.
I will definitely return!
The staff was amazing. they went above and beyond to help me surprise my friend and letting me check in and decorate the room!

The property is located in a great area. The state capital building and the historic clock tower are within walking distance. Front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The room was nice. However, the couch cushions and pillows are ready to be replaced or steam cleaned.
Great stay, very clean, spacious room. Very pleasant all around with friendly customer service. Breakfast didn’t accommodate for allergies. Lots of cross contamination. Had to go elsewhere for food.

Disliked: Room comfort
The employees are super nice and helpful. The pillows though aren't very comfortable and they didn't have extra pillows to give if you needed extra. Location is in the downtown area. It's kid friendly as there was something fun in the court yard to do.
Great stay and very clean comfy room. The pullout couch was as expected -uncomfortable with the bar hitting the lower back. I don’t know if there is anything to be done about that
Having just finished a 2 week stay, my wife and I agreed we like this hotel quite a bit. Our king bed studio was spacious, in good quality, and clean. The bed and bedding were noticeably nice. Good fridge and cooktop, fine with cups and plates, could use a few more kitchen items (more pots and pans, colinder, etc). Hotel breakfast just okay.
Parking available in the structure across the street, as well as excellent valet team.
Overall, much better than several other hotels with kitchen suites.
Recommended, and we've already booked our next stay.
Hotel clean, staff professional and friendly. Please put the benga blocks and corn hole game away at 11pm. People were very noisy playing these games outside our window in the courtyard until past 1am.

Only stayed one night and The hotel was average. Could have been cleaner as there were old stains on walls, carpet, and chairs. There was also a sewage smell in the bathroom. Our first hotel room had a stain on the sheet but they quickly moved us to a new room. Staff and service is definitely their strong suit.
To be honest the hotels in Richmond with great reviews and cleanliness are just few and far between. Would stay here again if I go back to Richmond
The staff and hotel are excellent. The room is very big with 2 burner stove cooktop, full fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast is good.
However:
1. Flapper valve in toilet needs to be replaced. It no longer holds a seal when closed. Toilet flushes continuously. We told staff on our way out. It seems they were likely to fix it and were apologetic.
2. The room had an iron but no ironing board. Looks like closet had a place for one. We used towel on bed as our board.
3. The room has no safe. Seems odd for such a spacious room. No issues but odd.
4. The desk work space had a large power strip which is nice. However, it did not work. We plugged it into every available outlet to no avail. We left it unplugged.
5. The left side of bed had no tech outlet. Odd that only right side had tech outlet.
