"Firstly, the staff were great! The location might be described as "edgy" - not Frankfurt station edgy but.. Handy for the Hbf though, not too far from the centre and there are shops doors away. Do be aware the hotel is right next to the railway, I love trains so not an issue for me - in fact this leads to one great feature: actual opening windows! The roof terrace is a nice feature, there's plenty of seating in the foyer too; I used the coffee machine but baulked at paying €19 for a continental breakfast. The room itself had the wow factor but there is a lot of style over practicality. Room card holder across the room from the door, seriously? Light switch for the bathroom hidden behind the door and no shelf in there either (think it was an accessible one, maybe that's why?) Shelves above the wardrobe, great if you're 8 foot tall & no separate switches for the bedside lights. Bed, blackout curtains, noise level, shower all good. Oh, don't mention the automatic tap either..
For a short stay, it's absolutely fine, the staff were so helpful - special mention to the cleaning staff who always said a cheerful hello."
