Location is walkable to the Dom and pretty interesting. Great view of train tracks and Dom from our window. Not kidding - very cool. Staff is great! Loved having a bar and breakfast available. The room and bathroom were very clean. Not much space to store your clothing so plan to keep most in your suitcase. We were there in winter so only peaked at top-floor deck. View up there has fantastic. Recommend and would come back.

I stayed here on a recent trip through Europe, exploring all of the Christmas markets. I stopped here in Cologne for three nights. The location is very close to the big cathedral in Cologne. It was very central to the cologne Central station. I felt like I could walk from the hotel to anywhere in under 30 minutes. They have a great lounge/lobby area. The front desk staff was also very great.

Small but clean and modern room. Decent shower, air con and tv. Toiletries provided, cleaned once during a 3 night stay. Bed was ok, not amazing. Perfect location for travel to and from the Dom and central train station. Area is busy in the evenings - lots of street noise but you don’t hear a thing as long as the window is closed .

The staff were helpful, the room was clean, warm (to the point of warm/hot), was very conveinent being so close the the station, city. Our room was 147 Urban basic, but away from the railway lines and the road infront was quiet as it was sort of pedestrianise, so not car busy. They allow 'left luggage' for free (and will not dispose of items if left for 7 days), which means on your last day you can come back after checkout to collect and go to the station.

The cafe in the reception area is very nice & the staff were exceptional. I gave 3 out of 5 stars because the room we stayed in was extremely small & the bathroom definitely could have been cleaner. If you are a solo traveler, it works, but if you’re traveling with another person, you may struggle. There wasn’t any room to open our luggage, other than on the bed. Also, it was hot like a sauna in the room so, we had to sleep with the window open in the 40 degree
