Great location - lots of restaurants and sights within easy walking distance. Very clean rooms and common areas. Staff responded quickly to inquiries. I stayed here on two separate occasions.
Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage.

Close to rainbow road and shops. Very difficult to find parking, parking is available all around just always full.
Stayed for only one night en route to Denmark. Our host was wonderful and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. I had read previous reviews that were quite dated but the host explained there had been upgrades since. The bed felt luxurious and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Reykjavik on foot. Bus stop to catch a bus to the airport was about two blocks away. Coffee provided was so good. Bakery around the corner as well as pubs and restaurants. Wonderful (brief) stay for us. Will choose this guesthouse again:)

The guest house was in an excellent location. I was on the second floor. There was just one bathroom for guests in 4 rooms! The coffee machine in the kitchen was not working. So, it was too pricey for the available amenities.
Great location, central to the bus stops, restaurant/centre of town, and the streets for shopping.
Bed/bedding/cushions were very comfortable. Kitchen was great too, the coffee machine and beans provided were so good. The grocery store is up one block - very convenient.
Storage for luggage nearby (not a lot and kind of sketchy carpark) before checkin
We were in room 1 on the main floor, shared a bathroom with one other room which was not a problem. I usually never choose shared bathroom but it worked well!
Super easy to find and coded entry is convenient.
We stayed 5 nights and would definitely return.
The host was also very accommodating to communicate with.
I loved that it was so close to the bus stop and the major street. This is especially appreciated after a long day tour and you just want to rest right away. It is but 3 to 4 minute walk from Bus stop #3. There's also a lot of restaurants in the area and you can walk everywhere.

Exactly as described. Expect to bring an eye mask if you are light sensitive.
Location is excellent right in the middle of Reykjavik. Plenty to do and see in the area. Everything was as the host said and it was a wonderful stay for my husband and me. Other people there were very considerate and quiet. We shared the bathroom and the kitchen. There is no breakfast offered. There is no luggage storage offered, but there are very reliable walkers a four minute walk away. I will definitely stay there again if I have the opportunity. There is no host, but the instructions for getting into the property and into the room are excellent.
