The hotel is close to bus stops and restaurants. The room was very clean. My room wasn't very large, but it was exactly as the pictures depicted. An enjoyable stay.
Easy access to the center of town and it has free parking. We stayed at the shared bath room though, I think it was fair for this location, free parking and the room. It is good for one night just before going to the airport.
room was simple but clean. staff excellent. i only wish the reception desk opened earlier.

Location is great. Across the street you can find bus stop #9, which is a popular one for tours and airport pick up.
Receptionists were kind, but the reception is not always open, which creates a conflict if you arrive early or if you want to store your luggage after check out!
In general a clean and nice hotel!
Right across the street from a bus stop which is very helpful for tour pickups. Unlisted amenities include a kettle, cups and tea. But primarily the highlight of the stay was the staff. Both the cleaning staff and receptionist were extremely kind and helpful throughout, and very understanding during a storm crisis.
Clean and tidy. Streamlined check in and out. Very helpful and informative staff. Hotel is well positioned and great for seeing the city as well as taking tours. Safe environment. Comfortable and spacious room.
A nicely located hotel.
Nothing fancy - but excellent if you only use the bed for sleeping, and being off wandering in the city by day.
Loads of good places to eat just around the corner.
Busstop for pickup for sightseeing is 20m from the entrance. Whats not to like.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Not appealing from the outside at all, lobby was sparse/non-descript, but lo & behold the room was small, but adequate/clean/comfy bed, with a fridge, all old but wow a gorgeous modern marble bathroom, go figure!
The room that I had was pretty good. I had it all to myself. I had to use a public bathroom which is fine. The hotel isn't far away from shopping areas.

Room was big for three beds. Ample room for us to spread our luggages out. It Could use some more lighting in the room and bathroom. Otherwise clean.
The location is awesome. However the conditions of the building and the room are very poor but it was clean sheets. Definitely not worth for what you pay. This is no more than 2 start.

For the location, it was very nice. Sparse accomodations. But that was okay. The staff was very accomodating. My room had no windows and shared bathroom. But I slept very well and the room had a sink. The desk clerks Karol and Janna were very helpful and courteous. They booked my transportation and tours. Very convenient. Kept clean.
As the name says this it's a hotel only at the 4th floor of the building. I heard that they will have rooms also on the 3rd floor. Be careful when you book, cheap rooms exists for a reason...
Any way, the rooms are spotless clean but some less expensive don't have toilet or windows (during the summer this is good).
5 minutes away from harbour and form downtown (walking).
Ugly and need serious renovations. Bed were terrible. If you want to loose money, go for it!!!

Disliked: Staff & service
Due to flight cancellation and regular update on our situation, then the cancellation to allow the hotel to book our room for other guests, no refund was offered even for half the stay.
the hotel is located on Laugarvegur, which is the main street for shopping and dining. The suite was large and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Since the hotel is located on a busy street, there is a lot of noise and the room is not very well insulated. The main issue with the hotel is that the reception area is manned only from 11am to 11pm, there is nobody there other times. This can be an issue if you need something simple like toilet paper in the middle of the night and there is nobody to call
Bathroom (toilet and shower) is TINY and shred with about 10 rooms. There are a lot of things not taken care of (ceiling, floor carpet, shower etc.). The sink smelled odd. The reception was not welcoming or helpful. The location was good. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this stay if you have other options.
I was nervous about staying here because the reviews weren’t great, but our room was nice and clean. We had a shared bathroom. It was cleaned daily, but did have some mold growth and could use some refurbishing. The hot water has a sulfur smell, which is to be expected as hot water comes from natural hot springs. It was great to be next to bus stop 10 and in the middle of the action. We loved walking through the streets and there were several eating options close by that were fantastic. The location isn’t very quiet, but I would say that is to be expected when you are in the street life section of town.
Overall positive experience. However, I did not see included in the description that there was not a window, which was a surprise. Not a dealbreaker but would have been nice to know for expectation management. Also, there did not seem to be ventilation/air in the room so it got a little bit stuffy. However, staff was very friendly and helpful.
