Property was well situated for walking and Southwald. The room was a good size and the information to access the property was very good. Parking was also good. Unfortunately the weather was cold and wet, so bathroom heating would have been appreciated. The plumbing was noisy ie air in the system, which woke us up during the night.

It is not a hotel. It is a farmhouse converted into self-contained units, each with own bathroom. Rooms have fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Linen and towels are provided but no food option - bring your own. A very good idea for a buget option in an expensive area. Plenty of parking and area for children and dogs to play outside. Surrounding area is beautiful with paths across the common to Walberswick and Southwold.

Perfect Stay

A comfortable stay in a great location handy for those outdoorsy people, basic breakfast provided in your room including fresh orange juice only one small grip shower can be temperamental suddenly going hot or cold ,would I stay here again yes definitely and would I recommend aguan definitely it is perfect for a short stay and better room facilities than more expensive places so its a thumbs up from me

This property is basic, but perfect for what we want. The location is great for walks into Walberswick and Southwold with our dog, but might be too far for some. The property is clean well looked after by the housekeeper Cheryl who is always helpful, friendly and happy to provide top up for breakfast items. We love the location and value of this property.

Just what I was looking for

I had a lovely time (despite some of the weather!). The property was just what I needed, clean, tidy, warm, no fuss and nicely situated for walks to Dunwich, Walberswick and Southwold. I didn't have to use my car at all which was just what I was looking for :-) When I needed a little assistance (the wifi code) it was just a phone call away.

Our room was spacious and clean . Kitchenet well stocked and breakfast supplies very generous. We had no hot water the first night and following morning but Cheryl was very helpful and had the it sorted by that evening.

The room was excellent, clean and with ample room to move around in. The view across the fields was lovely.the only down side was that you had to drive nearly every where. I did find a great walk on my last day, the Sandlings Way, it would be a good idea to show all the walks in the area. But all in all a very pleasant stay

Peace and Independence!

Beautifully peaceful with flexible/independent check in which was appreciated due to late arrival. I stayed in the family room/apartment which was very well equipped for my 2 night stay. The double bed was really comfortable and the double sofa bed in the living room, which i friend used for one night, was apparently comfortable too. Many thanks.

Great Short Break Lodge

Great base for Southwold/Walberswick. A good 20-25 minute walk to Southwold harbour via Sandlings Walk, right next to the lodge. Ideal for walkers & not muddy. Breakfast bits in our room more than adequate. Fridge, kettle, microwave, cups & cutlery etc
