"Clean room, nice property and friendly staff"

"The hotel is on the beach near a train station and has parking ($20/night) and a free breakfast. However, our room was uncomfortable, with a bathroom in the middle with little privacy. Lighting was bad - not enough for the room; inconvenient locations for the switches. The reception is on a different floor to the hotel entrance and no temporary parking was available during checkin. Only one elevator was working. Staff was reactive only - they delivered (slowly) only when asked in person; would rarely answer the phone; and never even tried to make any effort for our comfort. Our reservation was for 5, but there were no bed sheets for the pull-out sofa, no extra pillows or blankets. There were only two towels and only one cup in the room. Missing items were delivered on request, but requesting them was hard, considering the reception was almost impossible to reach by phone. The room was kind of clean, but there was a wet spot on the carpet by the door and candy on the floor under the sleeper/pull-out sofa. The shower was lukewarm and the drain was clogged. The breakfast area didn't have enough seating, so many had to stand while eating their breakfast with no tables or chairs available. The hotel seemed terribly understaffed.The one receptionist on duty was always hiding in a back room. Our room was not cleaned while we were there and towels//bedsheets were never changed. This is an ok place to crash overnight between two flights, but look elsewhere for your family vacation."

"Everything was top shelf here granted there was only one robe in the room and they should've been 2 And there was a little confusion over the room I had booked But the staff was amazing and the hotel is immaculate. The food in the restaurant really good I mean really good. I watched my girl smile when she took a bite of her lobster dish and say it was the best she ever had And when I asked for help, and when I asked for a favor The staff was amazing We'll be back"

"Only had one working elevator that took literally like 5 minutes to get to you. Had to take the stairs a few times, and I was on the 5th floor, so it was a good workout."

"Hotel has a beautiful view of the harbor and is well located - very easy to walk to dining and downtown. Room and hotel overall were clean and felt luxurious. Coach bed was comfortable as well. Loved having a door between the bedroom and living area! Overall great experience."
