「Checking in was very smooth. The hotel contacted me in advance and was ready for our arrival. Checked us in, helped with our luggage and gave us some very useful local insights to the restaurants nearby. During our stay they even gave us a nice surprise, to help us enjoy the wonderful city and area even more. We had a balcony overlooking the street to ourselves, though we didn't use it, as it was way too hot outside, but it was still nice to know we had one to use, if we wanted. The location...

「There was a confusion in the booking. I thought i booked a room with balcony but the hotel said that i booked a room with patio which meant it had to be on the ground floor. The patio was useless because it simply was a corridor and your view was just a concrete wall with a few plants. There was not much light as a result. 「The hotel lounge was a fantastic amenity that was well used by guests. There was a sociable and friendly environment. Complimentary tea, coffees, water, pastries, biscuits, fruit and port were available throughout the day and night. There was also a bar for those guests who wanted something different. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The historic charm of the hotel and its locality were perfect. Altogether, a great place to stay.」

「Great place to stay with plenty of character. In the middle of Barrio Alto so lots of bars and restaurants nearby. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Decent breakfast too. Short walk to a metro station and 15-20 min walk to the seafront.」

「The hotel team are excellent - always smiling and kind. The receptionists were very helpful in recommending places and provided adaptors for our chargers. The restaurant team provided us with ice and pot of water to use in our room. Unfortunately the room is very small with no kettle, or small fridge, and no space to sit around comfortably.
