Plus, the views of the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara right across the street are breathtaking. "Hotel is setup across 2 buildings and we were in the building up the street from reception but this wasn’t an issue. The room was clean and we had a view onto Rossio Square but being on the 4th floor we didn’t hear any traffic noise. Breakfast was good and it was quiet on both mornings."

"This is by far the worst Sofitel I have stayed at. The property is dated and dark. Rooms are small and staff are not helpful or welcoming. In my room, safe was not open, hand wash and conditioner bottles were empty and body wash pump was broken. The HVAC was not working and the room was unpleasantly hot. The mattress was damaged and uneven. My visit was short before an early flight but I could hardly get any sleep due the room condition. I would not recommend staying at this hotel."
