「Spent a full week at the JW Marriott and had a really great time with my family (wife and 2 girls 10&11). The hotel was really great when it comes to the pool, beach, staff, parking, and rooms. But really the only downside, is that even for a guy who does pretty darn good for himself, the food prices are just plain crazy, and the selection is very mediocre. $24 for a ham sandwich people, $26 burgers, $22 chicken strips, and if you want to eat at the italian buffet $50 a person for mediocre...

「Based right in the heart of Tamarindo. Ten North was the perfect spot to be to hit up all the shops and amazing restaurants. We walked everywhere and when we woke up Saturday morning there was an amazing farmers market right outside the hotel where we grabbed some morning treats and local artwork. Thanks Ten North! 「Great location within short walking distance of restaurants, grocery store and beach is not much further. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Free coffee in the mornings to enjoy on your balcony or beside the pool is a nice touch. 「Lovely hotel, perfect location and very kind staff. The hotel has 2 dogs, one big and small who are super cute, and are friendly but will generally ignore you and not be in your face if you don't want them to be. The pool had a few leaves/ bugs floating around and could be skimmed more often, but it was still perfectly fine to swim in. 」

「The property and our actual bungalow was eclectic, artistic and beautiful. The resort is located very central, and walkable to so many restaurants and shops. This property is on the beach and the outdoor restaurant has swinging chairs, benches, gazebos under romantic lighting, as a DJ plays soothing music in the evening. We stayed in Bungalow 8 which was large, decorated uniquely with some Asian decor. We loved it !」
