「We loved the Cary House. It's an old historic hotel, gorgeous lobby, furnished with period furniture, and an amazing old elevator. If you're into more modern and up to date furnishings and rooms, stay somewhere else. The people that work here are awesome. We'll be going back!」

「The room is just for sleeping and there is no drawer for clothes hangers. When asked, the office staff said that they don't provide any. So there is no cup for brushing teeth and no hot water kettle for making coffee. It is very simple and the charges are not cheap. The only advantage is that it is very convenient near the shopping mall.」

「This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Cigarette smoke looming throughout the entire hotel(didn't bother us but something to definitely note), the room itself was absolutely gross -- grease/ dirt grime all over the walls, shower caulking was mildew ridden, particles/ hair in the "clean sheets" on the bed, AC sounded like it was on its last leg, appliances and such were definitely older(not a bad thing but again the cleanliness was an issue), the list truly goes on. We were so tired...

「Extremely clean . Love the retro look. Very well maintained. The bowling alley was fun just wish it was not up/down a hill to walk. Bad hip - but very drivable and fun atmosphere. My only suggestion is leave more towels for rooms with double beds.. obviously more than one person may need towels. I would recommend this hotel especially for a fun staycation. 」

「Appreciated the complimentary parking and breakfast options. The bed cover was extremely thin and probably more along the lines of a sheet. Also had to return my dirty towels for clean ones which is always a minor annoyance. Older hotel so expected wear and use but overall fine and would likely stay again with the request of additional towels and an actual blanket. 」

「From check-in to check-out, this hotel is amazing. The staff are friendly, efficient and attentive, and the maintenance crew were right on the small issue we had. A towel bar came off the shower wall and within less than an hour of reporting it, on a Sunday, it was reinstalled. The kitchen staff are so friendly (special shout out to Vi), that when I was taking our luggage to the car one of the kitchen staff was taking out the trash, and literally thanked me for staying with them and asked how...
